The first annual HPCSW will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Denver Colorado from Monday through Saturday, March 31 – April 5, 2008.  The Keynote speaker will be Tony Hey, Corporate Vice President of the External Research Division of Microsoft Research.

The tentative agenda schedules the Computer Science Symposium on Wednesday-Friday, preceded by the Office of Science Advanced Scientific Computing (ASCR) Principal Investigators meeting Monday-Wednesday.  Those attending the Symposium and focused on LinuxBIOS will also have a hands-on workshop on Saturday, April 5.

This year’s HPCSW symposium seeks invited paper sessions, workshops, tutorials and posters on theme of “Programmability versus Performance.”

March 31 – April 2 — Department of Energy Office of Science ASCR Computer Science Principal Investigators meeting (attendance is for PIs of this program and guests invited by the ASCR Office only.)
April 2 – 4 — High Performance Computer Science Symposium (attendance is open to all based on availability)
April 3 – 5 — LinuxBIOS Summit will be held (attendance is open to all based on availability)
